Installation steps
- 1 Quit OBS
Quit OBS completely before installing (the menu-bar icon too).
- 2 Install
Unzip, then copy facebetter.plugin to ~/Library/Application Support/obs-studio/plugins/ on macOS. On Windows, copy the obs-facebetter folder to C:\ProgramData\obs-studio\plugins\.
- 3 Add the filter
In OBS, on the source you want (camera, window capture, media, and so on): Filters → + → Facebetter Beauty.

Are frames uploaded to the cloud?
No. All processing runs on your computer. No frame data leaves the machine.
How does the plugin relate to the SDK?
They are billed and used separately. This page is the OBS plugin. To embed beauty in your own app, contact us about the SDK.
I installed it and can't find the plugin.
Quit OBS completely. On macOS, copy facebetter.plugin to ~/Library/Application Support/obs-studio/plugins/. On Windows, copy the obs-facebetter folder to C:\ProgramData\obs-studio\plugins\. Then reopen OBS. On the source you want (camera, window capture, media, and so on), open Filters and add Facebetter Beauty. If it is still missing, email hello@facebetter.net.
How do I cancel?
Dashboard → Subscription details → Cancel. It will not renew. You can keep using it until the current period ends.
